Yogurt with Pistachio-Cardamom Crush and Pomegranate Molasses
I heard from so many people who made the Sour Cherry Yogurt Cake with Pistachio-Cardamom Crush that I wanted to give everyone another (easier!) use for that fragrant pistachio topping. You can add rose petals if you have them, but as this is casual, Fast Fix fare, please don't buy them specifically for this use.
To make: In a food processor, grind 3/4 cup unsalted pistachios, 1-1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom for 30 seconds, until somewhere between finely chopped and powdery. Add a few dried culinary rose petals (only if you happen to have them) and pulse just once. Store airtight in a jar on your counter, and serve a few spoonfuls over whole milk yogurt with a generous drizzle (or three) of pomegranate molasses.
