A cookbook author, food photographer, and recipe developer, PRERNA SINGH spent most of her childhood in central India, where she fondly remembers eating rotis straight off the clay oven and her mother’s fresh, straight-from-the-farm cooking. She earned her MBA in India and worked in the advertising industry before relocating to the United States a decade ago. She now lives in sunny California with her husband and two daughters.

Prerna loves traveling, exploring new cuisines, and sharing her culinary discoveries and creations with the world. Her work has been featured on Food Network, Yahoo Food, and The Guardian, among others. Indian Simmer, Prerna’s food blog, was awarded the Best Food Blog in the Regional Cuisine category by Saveur magazine in 2014. She is currently working on creating an international platform for Indian food lovers around the world.
